(Sicily, Italy) Valdibella - Isolano 2019

A crisp and precise white made from Catarratto Extra Lucido, a mutation of the local Catarratto variety. It has a lovely soft herbal aromatic, a lean body and crisp finish with a touch of salinity. The perfect accompaniment to seafood or curries. Made by the team at Valdibella, an impressive and inspiring cooperative based in Sicily's west who have a huge focus on biodiverse farmlands, an active social impact, and are part of the Addiopizzo anti-mafia movement.

(Douro, Portugal) Folias de Baco - Renegado 2019

Super light red or dark rosé from high altitude vineyards in northern Portugal. This is a blend of over twenty local varieties all mixed within the vineyards, and roughly 50/50 red and white. They're all vinified together and macerated for two days to create a super juicy and vibrant light red meant to be enjoyed chilled. Bright red fruits and citrus notes. Made by Tiago Sampaio, a grower who took over his Grandparents' vineyards and 2007 and has progressively become one of Portugal's most sought after natural wine producers.

(Hlohovec, Slovakia) Slobodne - Partisan Cru 2015

A lovely red blend of local varieties from Slovakia (Blaufränkisch, Cabernet, and Alibernet). The three varieties are aged separately in old oak barrels for 18 months before bottling. It has now been aging for three years in bottle and is nearing its drinking peak. Stunning black fruits and sweet spices in a lean, medium/light body. A refined and accessible wine but with its own distinct features. We are very excited to be able to offer out the last few cases of this sought-after vintage. Slobodne are a fascinating family-run winery going back to the early 20th century. They rebuilt their farm over the past 25 years following a 50-yr break due to the hardships of WWII and then 40 years of communism. Now run by two sisters and their two partners, they are making some of the most exciting skin-contact wines around today.
