100% Chardonnay. This release marks the first vintage of this cuvée, a stunning example of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation with fantastic depth and refinement, balanced by a feather edge of salinity and a bittersweet density on the finish.

Sophie and David of Clos Sauvage have been making wine in a beautiful corner of their region at 450m of altitude on the exact border between Burgundy and Beaujolais since 2018. Their aim from the start has been to create an autonomous farm where vines are grown alongside many other products, where cows and horses roam on adjacent pastures, where bees are kept, and where farmstays are possible.
