A truly impressive wine, with remarkable concentration of flavours balanced by a gossamer delicacy and lightness on the palate. This is an unexpectedly toothsome wine, with enough structure and body to bite into. The tarte tatin aromas pull you in and the touch of oxidation and nuttiness keeps you coming back for more.

Audrey as a winemaker is ‘living her third life’ after a storied career that has spanned from working as a wine merchant in Paris to growing vines in the Alsace. Returning to the Loire to start again, she began making wines in an abandoned rock quarry, producing only 5000 bottles a year and using organically-farmed negocé fruit that she buys from trusted farmers and friends. Her winemaking philosophy prioritises long maturation, and her wines are vinified without any chemical or mechanical intervention.
