Folias de Baco - Rabigato 2023

(Douro, Portugal)

A unique white made from a nearly-extinct variety called Rabigato. Native to the Douro, there are very few growers still championing this grape, and even fewer making a 100% Rabigato. Amongst all of Tiago's wines, this tends to be the most mineral year after year. Lovely zippy lime and stone fruit character rounded out by notes of oyster shells and brine. Deliciously refined, and perfect with seafood, salads, curries and more.

Made by Tiago Sampaio, a grower who took over his Grandparents' vineyards and 2007 and has progressively become one of Portugal's most sought after natural wine producers.
