Le Cartel - Grenache Noir sur Calcaire 2021

One of the most expressive yet light expressions of Grenache we have come across. Very light in colour and body, this is one of those lean wines that stops you in your tracks. Heady aromatic of herbs and subtle red fruits, an explosion of flavour on the palate with a finish that goes on and on. 

Le Cartel is a collaborative project between our longtime friend and grower Fredi Torres and Jean-Remi Mourad, who decided they could not pass up the opportunity to work with a few stunning old-vine plots in one of France's most beautiful stretches of coast. They are currently working with vines that range from 60 to over 100 years old.
