This collection features the four delicious and exclusive house wines from Kol Restaurant in central London. These wines were created as a collaboration between ourselves, chef Santiago Lastra and the amazing Slobodne family in Slovakia.
Kol describes its focus as 'championing seasonality, sustainability and appreciation for wild food, overlaying the techniques and heritage of Mexican cuisine with the landscape of Britain.' The food created by Santi and his team is incredibly unique and ultimately reflects the bold flavours and traditions of his native Mexico.
With this in mind, four wines were blended to provide a perfect complement to spices, textures, and strong sensory experiences. These are wines of freshness and elegance but with strong personalities that can stand up to, yet not overshadow, the boldest of flavours and delicate complexities of refined cuisine.
