100% Chardonnay planted in a unique local white clay made in egg-shaped amphoras, which are specially crafted from the very same clay. This Blanc de Blanc is at once taut, nervy, smoky, and lean, and dense, full-flavoured, and textured - an almost contradictory combination of linearity and breadth that is truly mind-bending.  A work of art from start to finish, and a crown jewel of the estate.  

Made by Marie-Laure Copinet, who since 2015 has steered her family estate in a bold new direction.  Her first step was to regenerate the soils by halting the use of synthetic products in the vineyards, before focusing the winemaking on a style centred around single vintage, single variety, and single vineyard Champagnes.  Working across three sub-zones of Champagne, the result is a diverse range of wines which express a rare elegance and purity and an exceptional blend of pleasure and precision.
